TECHO
As one of Latin America’s leading social impact organizations, TECHO faces the ongoing challenge of identifying, prioritizing, and applying for funding opportunities across multiple countries and programs. The grant-writing process — often decentralized and manually driven — requires significant time and coordination, limiting the organization’s ability to scale its fundraising efforts and react quickly to new opportunities.TECHO needed a system capable of transforming grant management into a more data-driven, automated, and strategic process.

Timeline
To address this, we partnered with TECHO to design and implement an AI-powered grant management ecosystem that integrates automation and organizational intelligence. The system combines two core components:
AI-Powered Grant Writing — Generative AI assistants trained on TECHO’s documentation and narrative style accelerate the drafting of proposals, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with institutional goals. The system also enables team members to interact with the organization’s knowledge base through natural language queries and structured prompts, facilitating collaboration and institutional learning. Funding Opportunity Mapping — A data-driven platform that continuously identifies and categorizes potential funding sources using AI and automation. This component includes a dynamic database that screens open calls, analyzes alignment with TECHO’s priorities, and automates updates to maintain an up-to-date repository of opportunities. Together, these tools enable TECHO to scale its fundraising operations, optimize resource allocation, and develop in-house capacity for systematic and automated opportunity management.
Working with Lumen was a great experience. I highlight their professionalism, close follow-up, and clear proactivity. They not only delivered what was agreed upon but also added extra value at every stage. A team that truly understands our work, takes action, and improves results.
Next projects.
